Does Staging Matter?

If you were attending a wedding, would you skip the jewelry?

NO!!

The same is true of staging your home for sale. The small accents and big impressions that staging provides is like the jewelry to your outfit. It matters!

Whether your house is big or small, or occupied or vacant, staging can have a big impact. A 2021 National Association of Realtors survey found that 23% of selling agent saw up to a 5% increase in the sale price of staged homes.

The commonly staged rooms in a house are the living room/great room, dining room, kitchen and the primary bedroom. Smaller accents such as colorful shower curtains, towels and counter displays are also common in bathrooms.
