Cash is king, right?? Right! But there is more than one “kind” of cash. Earlier this year, several mortgage companies began allowing their clients to write cash offers, which has propelled many buyers to the top of the offers received pile. Here’s how it works: 👉 The mortgage company vets the clients to determine if they qualify for the cash program. And so it continues…. Houses and condos in Dane County are selling at a rapid pace, especially those priced well and in good condition. 580 homes sold in May 2023 compared to 435 sales in April of this year. The price increased slightly, too.The average sale price in May was $476,183 compared to $471,748 in April. And the average days on the market decreased from April to May, too from 24 days in April to only 18 days in May. So, basically, property continues to sell for more money in less time. It’s bike week in Madison! June 3rd-10th is the week we celebrate biking. And Madison has some of the best biking trails around. Want to bike through nature? Try a trip through the Arboretum.
